Lifetime frame and fork warranty

All Brighton Bicycles frames and forks now come with a lifetime warranty. This covers the frame and fork against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.

All other components come with a 12-month limited warranty on materials and workmanship. This warranty extends for one year from date of purchase while owned by the original owner.

If a component should fail due to faulty materials or workmanship within the warranty period, a replacement component will be provided free of charge. The owner is responsible for the return of the bicycle to the place of purchase for any work to be carried out.

Limitations

These warranties do not cover consumable items such as (but not limited to) tyres and inner tubes or brake blocks or pads, nor does it cover wear and tear: components such as chains, chainrings, cables, and eventually wheel rims will wear out under prolonged and heavy use.

The frame and fork warranty covers the structural integrity of these components, and excludes cosmetic issues and paint finish.

No liability is accepted for damage caused through neglect, improper use, lack of regular servicing, road accident/collision, or anything other than faulty materials or workmanship.

The warranties apply to original purchaser only and are not transferable. Proof of purchase may be required.

These warranties are in addition to your statutory rights and do not effect them. Errors and omissions excepted.

30-day Satisfaction Guarantee on New Bikes

If you change your mind for any reason you can return your new bike to us. We will issue a full refund provided the bike is in perfect, unused, as-new condition.

Bikes with a custom colour are specially painted to order and cannot be re-stocked as a standard model, and as such are excluded from this satisfaction guarantee. Your statutory rights still apply.

6-week Free Tune-Up on all New Bikes

On a new bicycle it is normal for things to ‘settle in’ during the first few rides. Cables can stretch a little, or brakes can sometimes develop a squeal, for example. All Brighton Bicycles come with a free tune-up within the first 6 weeks of ownership to give you a chance to ride the bike a few times and then have these adjustments and checks made.

Please call to book your Brighton Bicycles in for a free check-up and adjustment. This check is limited to the original purchaser and is only available if you are able to bring your bike to Brighton Bicycles. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the bike is booked in and returned for the check-up within 6 weeks. Proof of purchase may be required.

2-year Warranty on E-bike Batteries*

Brighton Bicycles E-bike batteries come with a limited 2-year or 500-charge warranty. This warranty extends for 24 months from date of purchase, or 500 discharge and recharge cycles (whichever occurs first), while owned by the original retail purchaser. Commercial use invalidates this warranty.

All Brighton Bicycles E-bikes use lithium-ion batteries, where battery life is measured more by the number of charge and discharge cycles rather than, say, the total time for which it has been used. Our batteries provide between 500 and 1,000 charge cycles before the range starts to decrease significantly (i.e. below 60% of its original).

If the battery should fail (i.e. fall below 60% of its original capacity) due to faulty materials or workmanship within the warranty period, a replacement will be provided free of charge. The owner is responsible for the return of the bicycle or battery to the place of purchase for testing prior to any replacement.

All other electrical components come with a 12-month limited warranty on materials and workmanship.
